Digging Deeper is a 6 part audio drama bringing together the best of arts and science to communicate the vital importance of protecting soils using the gripping medium of an intense family drama.
Today I’m able to share with you a teaser trailer for the drama as well as three extracts from the episodes. I’m currently looking for the funding that will enable us to record and release the full drama.
The story follows a young child, Ella, as she discovers she can speak to soil (Pete) letting the audience reconnect and learn about the value of soil as she does. Meanwhile the emotional conflict between Ella’s estranged parents (Kate and Tom) about land and their shared tragic history on it rages on, Tom struggles to keep his small farm going and Ella battles to make her parents take Pete seriously.
