Soil is dark and fertile – I think soil is good because it’s a carbon sink and grows our food – Soil is an integral part of the holy trinity of soil, air and water – the fundamental pillars of life.- It’s alright – love it – Earthis the earth – Soilhealth is vital to the future of humanity – Soil is neglected and under-appreciated, taken for granted, in our society. – I care about soil because I care about food – Healthy soil is vital for life on Earth. – I never gave that much thought to the soil, and then all of sudden it became a huge presence to me, and ideas and reflections I was having all became connected with soil – fungi, climate change, peat, cultural heritage, food sovereignty; it’s a wonderful and powerful, interconnected substance.- It’s a very important substance vital for all life – My favourite thing in the world.- Soil is the coming-together and renewal of all. – My feelings are irrelevant relative to the primordial innate wisdom of Mother Earth – It is a living being that gives life freely to all other beings if treated with respect. – Our Earth depends on healthy soil, rich in organisms and linked to plants and animals. – I am a geographer and former teacher so I understand the value of soil to our lives but not thought about things in the way some of these questions are asked.
